Kim Victoria Cattrall born 21 August 1956, is a British Canadian actress from Canada. Best known for the role as Samantha Jones in the HBO Sex and the City series in which she was nominated for five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award, winning the Golden Globe 2002 for the top supporting actor. She reprised her role as the lead in Sex and the City 2: Sex and the City (2008 and Sex and the City 2) (2010) films. The actress was also the lead actor on the film Police Academy Big Trouble In Little China Mannequin & Porky's. Kim Cattrall comes to mind whenever you think of her character Samantha Jones on the hit HBO TV show Sex & the City. Cattrall, a noted actress, has been credited with her performance as Samantha Jones as a career-defining role. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. She is most well-known for her performance in the drama comedy film La Dolce Vita. The film won an Oscar as well as the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival in 1960 and was also a commercial as well as critical hit. Prior to her first acting gig as a model, she worked as a Swedish fashion model. She took home the Miss Sweden competition. She moved to the US in the early 1990s, where she began to appear in films as minor characters. The first role she was credited with was in the movie Abbott and Costello Go to Mars where she played the role of a Venusian guard. After appearing on screen in Blood Alley, she won the Golden Globe Award in the category of the Most Promising Youngcomer.
